You are probably well aware of the drug Diazepam, though you most likely know it by its commercial name Valium. It is one of the most popular drugs in the world and is used to treat a variety of conditions. Diazepam was not the first benzodiazepine to be developed, but is by far the most popular and widely used, though in many cases Xanax is taking its place. Developed in the 1960s, Diazepam can be used to treat insomnia, anxiety, seizures and occasionally it is used for other purposes. Diazepam is not without its drawbacks however. It can be damaging to the liver and kidneys, it is habit forming and dependency forming, it interacts negatively with other drugs and with alcohol. Like most drugs it has side effects as well; Diazepam's side effects include blurred vision, loss of sex drive, hallucination, personality changes and difficulty urinating. Pregnant and nursing mothers should not use Diazepam. For all of these reasons herbal alternatives should be given careful consideration. Natural remedies can be used in place of Diazepam for both anxiety and sleep problems. Herbal supplements are generally safer and side effect free, as well as effective.

The most common [kw]sleep disorder[kw] is onset insomnia, or in other words a difficulty falling asleep. Luckily, it is a treatable form of sleep disorder, and can be dealt with without the use of pharmaceutical drugs. There are herbal remedies specifically designed for this sleep disorder which produce a calm that leaves the mind at ease, relaxed and in a good state for sleep. Many of these will also relax the muscles, which is very good for those who suffer from sudden cramps in the night. This type of sleep disorder is usually temporary, and can be even shorter with proper treatment. Many doctors will rush to prescribe Ambien or Xanax for a stress related sleep disorder like onset insomnia, but this is usually not necessary and can do more harm than good. People who use these drugs, even for a short amount of time, often end up dependant on them for a proper night's sleep and the sleep disorder worsens when they try to stop using them

Ambien, Xanax and Valium are all sleep medicines taken frequently by a nearly uncountable number of people in the world. Valium and Xanax are both sleep medicines designed to treat insomnia by treating the anxiety that causes it. However, they were never designed to be used for long periods of time and even the manufacturers will tell you that. Despite this fact many people continue taking these sleep medicines for sometimes years at a time. This leads to kidney and liver damage in many cases and also easily results in dependence and addiction. When people try to stop taking the sleep medicines they are greeted with a whole host of withdrawal symptoms. There are sleep aids that don't have any of these sorts of problems and can be taken for as long as insomnia persists without the risk of dependency, though they are rarely recommended by doctors. This is because they are herbal medicines and the medical community is slow to accept what has already been used for hundreds of years. Before using a powerful pharmaceutical to get to sleep, try natural sleep medicines

Having trouble sleeping for one or two nights isn't uncommon. When you have trouble sleeping for longer than that, or if you experience trouble sleeping for one or two nights but on a regular basis, you may begin looking into treatment options. Before doing that, the simplest thing to do is to examine your habits and lifestyle. You may find a few causes, or one single cause of stress; stress and anxiety are by far the main reasons for insomnia. If there are stressful factors which are causing you to have trouble sleeping, there may be a cognitive answer to dealing with these factors. We are told the benefits of eating right and exercising regularly, and when it comes to dealing with insomnia this is no exception; if you exercise (during the day, not late at night) this improves your body on many different levels and burns off energy. Trust nature to treat what ails you, especially in the case of trouble sleeping. There are so many natural remedies to help with sleep that unless you have a serious physical problem you should be able to deal with insomnia safely, without the use of pharmaceuticals. Don't let trouble sleeping interrupt your life any further.

Colon cleanse ratings are somewhat hard to give, and this is because of a couple of factors. The first thing to keep in mind is that when trying to organize them into a list of colon cleanse ratings the ingredients lists are all extremely similar. The differen
